We’re all in this together
So let’s not argue and fight
We all want things as they were
We’re all in this together
So let’s just all concur
Not debate who’s wrong or right
We’re all in this together
So let’s not argue and fight

At times
Memories surface
Arising from a sight,
Sound or smell, and “Remember when…”

I just took an online class to create this “Laundry Day” collage and it sure did cause me to recall many memories of the times spent hanging clothes out on a clothesline when growing up in the 50’s in Illinois.
Unique,
Trying to grow tall,
Feeling you don’t fit in
With all those who surround you.
Listen!
Listen!
Don’t you dare give up trying!
Look up, reach for the sky!
You do have a
Purpose.

In a busy world
That’s been slowed down by the
Corona Virus
Opportunities exist
To consider one another

In the
Middle of this chaos
Can we find common ground
Where all of us can live in peace
Together

What if
The rocks could talk?
What stories could they tell,
Of where they’ve been and whom
They saw.

Floating in the wind
Wish carriers
Carrying someone’s dream

Sitting outside, lately I have noticed many white puff balls floating by, some even landing on me or close enough to catch.
They always remind me of my childhood times of picking dandelion puffs and blowing wishes in the wind.
Come sit awhile
On the comfy garden bench,
Neath’ the tall pine trees.
Let the sun melt away your cares.
Close your eyes and rest.
Nature’s tranquility
Will refresh your soul,
And you will leave renewed
To face another day of life.

Just counting blessings
At the end of a perfect day
Thankful for my friends
