Does “Happiness Happen”? What made you happy today?  Today is National Happiness Happens Day.  It was started by Pamela Gail Johnson in 1998.  It’s purpose is to help people recognize their happy moments and encourage them to talk about them thereby creating a happy atmosphere.  To find out more visit The Secret Society of Happy People where you will find out what happiness is and how to become a member of this happy society!

July 6, 1942 Anne Frank and her family go into hiding for two years in the “Secret Annexe” above her father Otto Frank’s office which was in a warehouse in Amsterdam.  Anne Frank was 13 years old. Read the account of her hidden life as recorded in her Diary.

To day is National Ball Point Pen Day
Brothers, Laszlo and Gyorgy Biro,  are credited with the invention of the ballpoint pen and obtained a patent in June of 1943.
