Aged by life’s storms,
Yet displaying beauty,
No matter the season
May I weather like thee

Like a fading leaf
I wonder as I age
And detach from life
On my aged tree
Just what the end will be

Praying that God’s angels
Catch me when I fall
Asleep on this earth
