In the Aftermath Of Winter

Rose bud

Searching for sunshine

A tiny bud pushes forth

Roses rise again

#NaPoWriMo 2019–Day 21–Off Prompt

One Small Rose--Tanka

This poem is dedicated to my manager, Angela, who made working on Mother’s Day a little nicer with her gift of a single artificial rose corsage to all the mothers working that day.
