Life at times
We find we’re
Just able
To stay afloat
And tread water
Not moving
Not going
Just keeping
Our heads up
Until someone
Helps us out
By throwing
Us out a
Lifeline
Syllablic Verse
Be that someone-throw out a lifeline to somebody in need.
Life. Death.
The difference
Is often a thin thread
That one careless word could snap and break.
Caution
Needed.
Be very careful when speaking words.
They have power to change life
For better or worse.
Choose wisely.
