I was going,
But now, I’m not.
Plans change so quickly.

Another day passes,
As I do mundane tasks.
Time passes slowly.

Days become filled
With work and school.
Minutes fly by.

Sunrises in the East.
Sunsets in the West.
Moments in between are a blur.

Life–a daily gift.
Have I used it well?
Have I shared it with others?

The Lord of days
Watches it all
And ponders…
