Never before tasted
Gifted by neighbor
Delight to the eyes as well as
Tantilizing to palate

Makes Sense
The long sleepless night
On the pallet forgotten,
My palate enjoyed
Sweet breakfast delicasies
And morning sky’s palette
Tanka

palette : (range of colors)
