Looking for the perfect gift?

So, put on your biggest smile,
And just go with the slow flow

Hearing sweet music,
The whispering wind incites
The ladies in green
To sway to and fro in harmony.
Nature’s graceful dance.

Christmas Countdown’s here
Run, Run, as fast as you can
Don’t let time win
Only seven days now left
The race is officially on

Blessings are found
By those who are seeking
God reveals His heart
In unexpected ways and places
And rewards those who seek

Matthew 7:7 and Hebrews 11

Twas just a morsel
The tiny seed that he found
Yet he sang for joy
For his heart was contented
And filled with godliness

…godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6

Tides rise and fall
Opportunities do too
Ocean never rests
Dont let opportunies fall
The wise rise not rest

Today’s a special time
To stop and reflect on life
Thankful for family
And friends, health, and provison
God has blessed me with much

Seek and ye shall find.
What is it that you search for?
Are you in the right place?
Acorns aren’t found beneath
The branches of Maple trees

I was prompted to write this poem today as I happened to see a little gray squirrel searching for food just outside my window. The little guy was actively checking out every flower pot, tree and place in the yard apparently looking for something to fill up his winter pantry. However, the trees in my backyard are only Maple and Evergreen, so he was coming up empty if he was looking for acorns. This caused me to consider what it was I was looking for in life and to ask myself if I was looking for it in the right places. Something we all should stop and think about occasionally

Are you spreading light?
There are two ways to spread.
Be a candle or reflect.
Two choices you can do daily.
Did you choose one today?
