Thanks Reshma. Personally, I do not like to walk in the rain, (probably because I do so much of it in rainy Oregon 🙂 but I suppose some people do…Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Oh yes, rains and oregon are like two sides of the same coin…when we moved to Portland last year, a car dealer quipped that rain is Oregon’s sunshine 😛
Ah, so you are a fellow Portlander! Nice to know we are of the same area and climate. 🙂
If one has rain gear, a hike in the rain can be fun! Without it…..not so much! Nice one!
Thanks WabiSabi. I am not a rain person, even though I live in rainy Oregon 🙂 but I know some people do like walking in the rain. My grandson is one of those..he loves rain. Personally, I like warm, dry, sunny days with just a bit of a cool breeze blowing. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Your poem brought it all back for me. We’ve moved away from Oregon after many years in the rain. My husband and boys were born in Portland. Liquid sunshine! I prefer the dry sunshine. 😉
Yes I prefer dry sunshine also Alice, but I do love Oregon, so I have to put up with the rain. Glad you enjoyed the poem and that you could relate. Hope you are enjoying your life now away from Portland.
An interesting Haiku.
Thank you Menons. I appreciate your visit and comment.
Very clever…I like this one !
Thanks Rallentanda! I appreciate hearing that! Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Rains can spoil or add to the beauty of the walk, although it sure depends on who you are walking with…interesting take Leona

We are enjoying the “dry sunshine” very much. We all loved (and still love) Oregon. It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people. 🙂
Wish we had some of that rain here in the desert!
