Betrayal
Brings duplicity
Back and forth
Lying tongues weaving
Dishonesty and deception
Cleverly disguised
Harmless looking masks
-Falseness-
Masks looking harmless
Disguised cleverly
Deception and dishonesty
Weaving tongues lying
Forth and back
Duplicity brings
Betrayal

Duplicity and betrayal do go hand in hand don’t they? You’ve expressed this really well!
Yes they do go hand in hand.
The definition of duplicity is: deceitfulness in speech or conduct, as by speaking or acting in two different ways to different people concerning the same matter; double-dealing. Synonyms: deceit, deception, dissimulation, fraud, guile, hypocrisy, trickery. So yes, a person of duplicity could/would most likely betray someone.
