“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’
— Martin Luther King, Jr., “I Have a Dream,” delivered August 28, 1963
Recently I watched the movie “Christopher Robin”. It was a wonderful example of how sometimes adults forget how to enjoy life because they are so very involved in problems and worries.
I had to pause the dvd quite often to write down various quotes from Pooh and others.
One scene that especially spoke to my heart was when Pooh wanted a red balloon because “red balloons made him happy” and grown up, now burdened down, worldly Christopher Robin, got frustrated and said “ there’s more to happiness than a red balloon”
How sad it is to view life that way.
I am much more inclined to grab a red balloon and dance thru life with Pooh Bear! 😊🎈
Took this photo of my family’s pets, (grandson and grand-daughter’s cats) all sitting together seeming to be having a meeting of the minds–probably regarding whose attention they could grab to give them some food in their empty bowl! 😃
(I was inspired to write this poem after listening to “A Million Dreams” Song from the movie “The Greatest Showman” and I added it to a paper collage piece I was working on that the song also inspired me to create😩)
I am currently writing a Daily Devotional for my online ministry titled “Who Am I”.
For 30 days it will share scriptures and messages about who believers are in Christ. It is an eye opening and inspiring journey to learn all the blessings and benefits believers receive in Christ that most don’t even realize, walk in or live out daily. This devotional has been inspiring me daily as I write it and I feel blessed to be able to write and share it with others each day. If any of you are interested in receiving it daily you can find it at this link: Smile God Loves You Daily Devotionals
