World Overview

Man racing with time

Quickly jotted notes

Faceless friends and family

Life passing by

Living in a timeclock

Checking Apple’s watch

Running life’s racetrack

In a zombie world

Filled with roads to nowhere

Lonely souls needing God.

May Day

The time has come

May’s skirts rustle as she tiptoes

Through the dancing tulips

Sowing seeds of florescence

Carpeting the world with flowers

Poem Dweller

Book with letters flowing out

Today

I live in a dictionary

With words as house mates

We’re building

Together

A poem

Called Meta

Composed of verses

It alphabetically speaks

In words

Reverse Mirror Cinquain/Meta poem

(One definition of Meta is: “pertaining to or noting an abstract, high-level analysis or commentary, especially one that consciously references something of its own type.”)

Living Life

Robot sculpture in field McMinnville,OR 2019

Living in an imperfect world

With imperfect people

As we struggle to survive

Searching for answers

With imperfect people

We walk, talk and dwell

Searching for answers

Only God can help us achieve

We walk, talk and dwell

Climbing mountains

Only God can help us achieve

Are we willing to trust Him?

Climbing mountains

Living in an imperfect world

Are we willing to trust Him?

As we struggle to survive

Spring Senses

Spring wreath with flowers, bird and butterflies

Waking to the sound

Of a dove’s soft cooing,

My sleepy eyes delight

At sunshine, and the morning

Sounds of baby birds.

Taste awakening anew,

I touch life boldly

Smelling it’s fragrant winds that

Promise new life again.

#NaPoWriMo 2019–Day 25–Prompt: write a poem about a specific season using all five senses

Raconteur

Quill Pen,

The quill speaks

Of days long ago.

In quivering

Quotations

It tells of quotidian

Events radiantly.

#NaPoWriMo 2019–Day 24–prompt is to write a poem that is inspired by a reference book. Locate a dictionary, thesaurus, or encyclopedia, open it at random, and consider the two pages in front of you to be your inspirational playground for the day.

(As you might guess I opened my dictionary to pages Q-R)
