Gratefulness

Many

Syllable Lune

As I sit on my cozy couch this chilly December morn, drinking coffee after a breakfast of my favorite toast and jelly, I am enjoying the warmth of the heat and the quiet ambiance of my surroundings, and I am grateful for all I have.

My thoughts turn to those who are homeless, in shelters, or victims of human trafficking and abuse, or others trapped in lives of stress or poverty. The many who don’t have the comforts of home.

I pray for them, and do what I can to help them.

As I sit quietly

In my home’s cozy corner

My prayers travel far

Flowing Forward

Sign saying “Keep Going”

When weariness comes

Keep Going

Flowing like a river

Syllable Lune

I was a bit weary today. One of those days when doubts step in and began dragging you down and you just feel defeated, like you can’t go on, but then…I saw this sign on a shelf in a thrift store, it said: “Keep Going” and I felt it was meant for me, so I perked myself up and kept going, and guess what?

I had a great day! 😊

Think positive thoughts

Keep Going

Weariness will leave

Searcher of the Scattered

Ezekiel 34 scripture

As a Good Shepherd

The Lord God

Seeks, saves His sheep

Syllable Lune

For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.”

Ezekiel 34:11-12 KJV

Abundance

Apples on the ground

What does God do with

Unused fruit

Abundantly beared?

Syllable Lune

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; John 15:8

Have you ever wondered what God does with the fruit you bear daily?

Do you wonder if some of those Fruits of the Spirit you bear ever fall on good ground, get picked and used, or just fall by the wayside and go unused?

I don’t believe we who are true believers bear any unused or wasted fruit if we are truly walking in the Spirit and abiding in the Vine.

If we are bearing good fruit God can and will use it for His glory and it is not our job to wonder or worry about it.

Our job is to just be fruitful, bear good fruit, and leave the rest up to God.
