Two paths lay before me
Where will they lead my feet
If I go left where will I be
Two paths lay before me
If I go right what will I see
I wonder if in the end both will meet
Two paths lay before me
Where will they lead my feet

“You Matter”
Two words
Spoken
At the
Right time
Often
Impact
A mind
For good
Bring change
Plant hope
Give peace
Words have
Such power!
Syllabic Verse
Refresh yourselves
Come all you who thirst
All are welcome
Refresh yourselves
With the living water
Only He provides
Syllabic Verse
“…Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:37-38 KJV

I came
Soon afterward
Twas just at the right time
They said, but I knew Father had
It planned

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Some days
You just have to
Be creative
Formative
And design your own sunshine
Using whats given

The few
Essential ones
Their dedication and
Skills kept us going at night and day
Let’s not
Forget
Their faithful determination
To face fear head on
In such a time
As this

While I appreciate and salute all who served as essentials during COVID-19, I specifically want to dedicate this poem to my grand-daughter Vivian, age 21, who is a care-giver at a nursing home.
Vivian faithfully worked many long and extra shifts to take care of the residents during quarantine.
And also, want to dedicate this poem to my other grand-daughter’s boyfriend, Michael, age 20, who is an auto maintenance worker, earning minimum wage. Micheal faithfully worked many long days and extra hours with no extra raise in wages during this time of pandemic.
Thanks to both of these hard working young people and many others I don’t know.
Let’s remember it was people like this that kept our country going during the pandemic.
A time
Of refreshing
Has come, wash off that
Weariness, shake away worry
And soar

Limited resources,
Boredom, time to spare,
Creativity reigns.
New garden art on display,
Pretty way to recycle.

Today I was working on creating some yard art from things I had on hand. I like to make useful items from things that normally get thrown away or recycled so I have been trying to find things to make with the plastic bottle caps from my water bottles and also aluminum cans. The photo posted is some of the flowers created today that when finished will go outside in my back yard.

All’s that left now is
Empty Chairs
Minutes before
They held my dear ones
Time moves
Swiftly, savor it
Double Syllable Lune
Tonight my grand-daughter and her boyfriend came over for supper. We ate, had cake for dessert, played cards, talked and laughed. The two hours of time went by so quickly. After they said their goodbyes, I looked around at the empty chairs and quiet house and was reminded how fast time goes.
Thankful for the memories.
