March enters today
Like a sweet frolicing lamb
A refreshing sight
Haiku
Old Weather Idiom was: “If March comes in like a lamb it will go out like a lion” or vice versa–in like a lion out like a lamb.
After our winter, I was glad to see some lamblike weather today.

Spring’s visit was short
She danced with us all day
Til Winter struck back
Haiku

The morning
Sunshine woke her
Spring couldnt wait
She conspired
She slipped past winters gate
And visited us
Shadorma

Promises of Spring
Abundantly appearing
Lawn full of robins
Haiku
While at my college today I happened to notice the lawn was filled with robins! So many of them hopping about, it was amazing to see that many at once! Very encouraging sign of Spring.

Walking
In paper shoes
Carefully planning
Each step to avoid ruinous puddles
Of life

Living String of Pearls
Sits upon my window sill
Silent Succulent
Haiku
(I just love my String of Pearls plant that I purchased last summer at our local Farmer’s Market. It sits on the a southern facing windowsill in my bedroom and really seems to like the filtered sunlight that streams thru as it has been steadily growing beautifully.)

Looking back at where I’ve been
Won’t get me where I want to be
Thinking of what life was then
Looking back at where I’ve been
Mulling over where I was when
Hides the future from me
Looking back at where I’ve been
Won’t get me where I want to be

Caring about others
Is vibrant
Catalyst for life
