Little Button Tree

Pixel Prose Challenge: Week 1–December 2014
Tree of Books

I made this beautiful little Christmas Tree out of some of my books I had on hand.
I just stacked them in a tree shape and added mini lights and ribbons.
It doesn’t take up much space and it certainly didn’t cost much to make!
I just love it!

Give Of Yourself

Haiku Horizons Weekly Challenge: Week #40–Prompt: Give
This challenge about giving seemed to fit in with this clip in the recent local news
about a boy offering “Free Hugs” during a time of social unrest and a policeman accepting.

Today’s Gift

Today at work, I was given a special gift from a charming little boy about 6 years old.
It is a rubber band bracelet made in multiple colors. He told me he makes them and sells them for $1.00 each,
but “Today!” he said “This one is free for you!” How sweet! I shall treasure it always!
