Finding “The Light”
A sudden insight!
The reality of a deity,
Is revealed those wise,
Who bearing gifts for a King,
Now receive God’s offering!

Fact vs Reality
On the calendar,
The shortest day of the year.
December twenty first,
The first day that winter begins.
Sun shines, temp warm, work day long!

Not Carefree
In my imagination,
I see a day that’s red light free.
No stopping or starting,
Just cruising happily.
I’d reach my destination,
So very easily,
If I had nothing in the way,
To bring delay to me.
Yet life is not that simple,
And in true reality.
A few red lights are always needed,
To make me stop and see,
That often an interruption,
Becomes a great possibility.
One which could be missed,
by living a green light fantasy.

High Hopes
Summertime dreaming
Vacation hopes in my mind
Checkbook wake up call
Dreams do not match reality
No vacation plans this year
