Today’s Gift

Senryu poem about a bracelet gift

Today at work, I was given a special gift from a charming little boy about 6 years old.
It is a rubber band bracelet made in multiple colors.  He told me he makes them and sells them for $1.00 each,
but “Today!” he said “This one is free for you!”  How sweet!  I shall treasure it always!

Tribute to the Dunes Theatre of Zion, Illinois  1948-2014
The Dunes was torn down today.  I and my family have many fond memories of watching movies there.

We were wishing it would have been saved and restored.
