Caw! Caw! Caw!
He said,
while perching on my deck.
Standing tall,
He raised his head,
Caw! Caw! Caw!
This unwelcome visitor
awoke and rousted me from bed.
Caw! Caw! Caw!
Other places he could land.
He chose my deck instead.
Caw! Caw! Caw!
Loudly, boldly,
His voice pled,
Caw! Caw! Caw!
Then he was gone.
Into the meadow he fled.
Caw! Caw! Caw!
