Sobering Thought

Faded leaf
We will all fade as a leaf.

Do we not know this?

What to do?

….we all fade as a leaf -Isaiah 64:6

      1. Thanks for the encouragement–I made notes re the form πŸ™‚ I am wondering how I’m going to fit in all the challenges during a busy holiday season…maybe those short forms will really come in hand!! Bless you ❀

      2. Ha! 😊 In my poetry class this was in today’s lesson! 😊
“A short poem is like a cricket, which rubs parts of its small body together to produce a sound that is magnified far above that of larger bodies and leaves a loud, chirping sound reverberating in the ears of a listener, saying, ‘ I am small, but I am alive.’ “.
This was a Quote from a Student’s paper in the book “Discovering Poetry” by Hans P. Guth and Gabriele L. Rico which I am studying for this college poetry class. I thought it very fitting as we had just discussed short poems yesterday, so thought I would share it with you. 😊
