This is a good quinzaine. I find them hard to write, due to the question lines…but maybe I’ll try again 🙂
Thank you. I have only written two of them so far. I love using different forms to write my poetry. Yes, you should try again! 😊
Thanks for the encouragement–I made notes re the form 🙂 I am wondering how I’m going to fit in all the challenges during a busy holiday season…maybe those short forms will really come in hand!! Bless you ❤
You’re welcome! Yes, short forms do come in handy sonetjmes😊
Truly, they do!!! 🙂
Ha! 😊 In my poetry class this was in today’s lesson! 😊
“A short poem is like a cricket, which rubs parts of its small body together to produce a sound that is magnified far above that of larger bodies and leaves a loud, chirping sound reverberating in the ears of a listener, saying, ‘ I am small, but I am alive.’ “.
This was a Quote from a Student’s paper in the book “Discovering Poetry” by Hans P. Guth and Gabriele L. Rico which I am studying for this college poetry class. I thought it very fitting as we had just discussed short poems yesterday, so thought I would share it with you. 😊
Thank you So Much, Leona–how ’bout that!!!
