Well done. I have never chosen a word for the year. I seem to get a special word much more often than once a year, so just wait for the Lord to download on any given day which word is important. But I can see the value in a word for the year, too.
I just started the Word for a Year last year. I had heard of it and was praying about it and had a couple thoughts of words but then last year on New Years Eve the Lord put “Victory” into my head. So last year, 2019, that was how my word came about ( there’s a much longer story to it then that but I won’t go into it here) 😊.
But this year I decided to take the quiz on DaySpring.com and got “Abide” which I believe is a good word for me this year and I am planning to do a lot of studying into how to abide as Jesus tells us to do.
