Some sounds delight

Some sounds are soothing

Birdsong awakens

Haiku

I was thinking about sounds this evening and how they affect our lives. Some annoy, interrupt, cause alarm or tears.

Others sooth, delight, cheer or bring laughter.

I wonder how many of us are conscious of the sounds we emit each day and how they might affect others around us.

      1. So true! One night some time ago my next-door neighbors decided to have a fight, and it was a colossal one that started about 1:30 am. Believe me, I did not like that sound.
