First Pedicure

They’ve been thru a lot, but

Thankful to be back walking around on these feet again. It has been 2-1/2 months since my hip surgery and I am doing well. Today was a special treat for my feet and toes. They deserved it! They have done a lot for me over the years! 😊

Today I was blessed to find a “Love Rock” at just the right time to brighten up my day.

Fruitfulness
This daily I pray
That God’s Love in me flows free
So as I go through my day
My Joy in Him others will see
May His Peace cover me in the fray
And may my Patience not flee
May Kindness in me stay
So God’s Goodness I can decree
And always may I display
Faithfulness that’s sturdy as a tree
That I may do His will everyday
And His true disciple ever be
To the One who is the Way
In Meekness I bend my knee
In Self Control I submit and obey
So the Father will be glorified thru me

Glad August Memory
The Gladiolus
Grew near my bedroom window
Colorful sword flower

The small house I grew up in as a child was bordered on one side with gladiolus and hollyhock planted by my mother.
My Mother was born on August 25th. She loved Gladiolus and
Gladiolus is the birth flower for August.
It’s lovely to remember looking out my bedroom window and viewing many colors of tall gladiolus and hollyhocks.
Such a nice memory to recall as I begin the month of August 🙂
