Your Vestige

Fall Leaves

Time and life will take their toll.

They will leave a lasting imprint.

What is to be your end goal?

Time and life will take their toll.

The body dies but not the soul.

Consider this as you do your stint.

Time and life will take their toll,

They will leave a lasting imprint.

Who am I?

Universe

I am a million thoughts,

Images and feelings,

Held together by hopes,

Dreams and will.

I am a broken heart,

Mending.

A dreamer, chasing.

A child, exploring.

I am youth and old age,

Combined in mind and body,

Held together by God.

Ephemeral Joy

Brown Leaf in Fall

In the days of my youth

When time was of no essence

No thoughts for the morrow

Entered my lofty world

As I grew vibrantly

In the fresh breezes of life

Enjoying the sun’s kiss

Until touched by Autumn’s breath

I felt the brevity of life

Searching for Inspiration

Who? What? When? Why? Where? Words In a cloud image
Uninspired, and I’m trying to write.

Who, What, When, Why, Where?

Why are some days such a fight?

Uninspired, and I’m trying to write,

But just a blank page is in my sight.

You know, some days just aren’t fair!

Uninspired, and I’m trying to write,

Who, What, When, Why, Where.
