Today,
An extra day,
What shall I do with it?
Making a special memory
To look
Back on
If I am blessed to be alive
Four years from now, if not,
Then it’s for my
Family.

Beauty surrounds
At the end of another day
Counting my blessings
Haiku

Is a burden wearing you down,
Like a heavy gown,
A weighted cloak or heavy yoke?
Are you being oppressed,
Or being tried to be blessed?
Is it just a test,
Or the enemy’s cruel jest?
Time and faith will tell,
If it’s from heaven or hell.

This little flower wasn’t in the garden of a queen,
Or even in a place where it might be seen,
Yet it was beautifully dressed,
Looking it’s best, as if blessed,
Bringing joy where it dwelt,
Sharing fragrance with any who smelt.
Oh that I, daily might try, to be
An affinity, in similarity.

This rainbow
Given to me
By Lord God
Just before
I received
My award
Of Mac High’s
Diploma
Syllabic Verse
This really happened at my Granddaughter’s High School Graduation! It was pouring rain almost thru the whole ceremony, we all got drenched, and then…just before her name got called to go up for her diploma the rain stopped and this beautiful Double Rainbow came out with the sun shining thru the clouds! So awesome!

Hope is a Promise,
Hold fast to it without wavering.
Hope is Living, through God’s
Mercy in Christ’s resurrection.
Hope is Grace and God.
Hope’s in you and me.
Hope is an Anchor,
That’s sure and steadfast-cling to it.
Hope is ours for the Future.
