That He gave us a gift

He gave us all His Only Son
Who died to save us all from our sins
And bring us all into eternal life

Death visited last night
It took the body of someone I knew
His earthly tent is now empty
But his spirit lives someplace new
There’s a heavenly mansion above
That Jesus prepared and took him to
Where he’ll dwell forever in peace
Because he believed what was true
We all can join him there
And have our mansion too
We just need to believe and receive
