Doubts

staircase
To win

Don’t dwell with doubts

Doubts are just traitors

They promote fear, cause loss

In life

They keep attempts from happening

Quench good and create losers

Do not listen

To them

Butterfly Cinquain

(Inspired by Shakespeare)

“Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.”

-William Shakespeare

Solid Rock

a rock
Wondering…

What stories you hold?

What have you

Seen and heard,

Sitting there observing life?

A silent listener?

Shadorma

(This big rock caught my eye today. It was sitting in a grassy area of the parking lot of a busy mall. As I started to pass it by I had the thoughts which inspired me to write the poem and take the photo. 😊

Good Fruit

Apple tree fruit
Jesus wise words

Trees are known by their fruit.

Promote the good

Out of the mouth the heart speaks

Fill your heart with good treasure

Tanka

For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:44-45
