Whose Hand?

Hands
My inner child’s asking

“Whose hand are you holding

As you walk today?”

“If it’s the Hand of Pleasure,

She will lead astray”

“If it’s the Hand of Worry

You’ll have a bad day”

“I’m holding the Hand of God”

I say, ” So I’ll always be okay”

A Visit and a Gift

African Violet Plant
Little surprises are best

Monoku

Feeling blessed. Grand-daughter stopped by with this little plant for me. She said she was thinking of me and saw this little plant and got it for me. What a nice surprise it was! She’s such a thoughtful, sweet girl!

Give Thanks

Sunset
Dont let this day come to an end

Without a word of thanks for it

Whether you faced foe or friend

Dont let this day come to an end

Until a word of thanks you extend

Thank God for life-every bit

Dont let this day come to an end

Without a word of thanks for it

Leaf Legacy

Leaf on sidewalk
Living

Among shadows

Of the past’s occurances

Alone I face the future

Certain

That my life was not in vain

It was orchestrated

For a purpose

Fulfilled

Butterfly Cinquain

Based on Psalm 138:8  The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. (ESV)
