Living in the Now

Posted on February 5, 2017February 6, 2017 by Leonas Lines

Mountain View
Learning from the Past,

Planning for the Future,

While the present I hold fast.

Learning from the Past,

Tis no easy task,

But I’m determined to endure.

Learning from the Past,

Planning for the Future.

sky , nature, quote
Wind blowing,

All Rivers flowing

To the sea.

Always free,

Clouds moving, it’s behooving,

You should too. Is true?

Just me

Standing alone

Face to the future

Shadows of the past behind me

No fear

#NaPoWriMo–Day 28–Prompt: write a poem that tells a story.
But here’s the twist – the story should be told backwards.

Mine might be a bit off prompt—but it’s the best I could do as being a forward thinking person I am not good at writing backwards. 🙂

Glass Door Knob--Shadorma poem about another era

I was inspired to write this poem after being in a charming little house with glass door knobs.  The house was filled with so much character that is no longer seen much these days.

I took this photo at a house that had been foreclosed on.  It prompted this poem.
