* “Bird of Paradise symbolizes joyfulness. It also symbolizes magnificence.
It can also be used to indicate exciting and wonderful anticipation.”
*quote from Flower Meanings at the Flower Expert.com
A friend of mine is currently spending some time in Los Angeles, CA. and on one of her daily walks she captured this picture of a Bird of Paradise plant growing on someone’s yard.
The official flower of Los Angeles is the Bird of Paradise.
She sent the picture to me and of course it prompted a haiku! 🙂
