    1. Thanks Alice. Appreciate your visit and comment. I am content to live in the City of Roses with my content rose bush 🙂 I was born in June and so the rose is my birth flower.

      1. I lived in “the city of roses” (Portland, OR) for 22 years and my husbands and boys are Portland natives. Are you from another “city of roses”? 🙂

      2. What a small world. Portland is a wonderful town with many good people and resources. It’s been a great place to raise my kids. I miss a lot about our life there (but wouldn’t give up our new found sunshine).

        All the best,
        Alice

      3. A week of snow is good for the garden and a nice change of scenery. We always like “snow days” in Portland and staying home to play 🙂

      4. Yes, it is Alice and a “Snow Day” occasionally is nice and I do try to enjoy them, however, all the snow I seen, shoveled and drove in over the years of living in the Midwest, has really taken it’s toll on me, and personally, I prefer no snow ever! 🙂 I am an 80 degree sunshine gal! 🙂
