February’s Farewell

Sunshine ends the day!
February’s grand finale!
March winds blowing in,
Bringing the promise of Spring,
To the weary winter worn earth.

DANCE Acrostic

This DANCE Acrostic is an original I wrote for the Praise and Worship Dance Team that I am on.  It really is our Mission Statement.
We do monthly presentations at Retirement Homes, Churches, and other Events.  Our dance is a mix of Jewish Folk Dance, C&W Line Dance, Interpretive Worship Dance, and other sources.  Our music is Contemporary Christian with some Old Hymns–but often we do
incorporate some modern Holiday music too.  (Just last Christmas I had fun dressing up as Frosty the Snowman and dancing around!)
Our desire is to create a fun atmosphere where we can share the love of God through dance and music.  We often use tambourines and worship flags in our presentations also.  I invite you to visit our website at: www.eomdt.org  for more information and photos.

Wisdom
And Adventure
Sit upon my shelves
Pages of words waiting to be read
By me
Each day
Stories and poems enrich my days
Emotionally filling
My heart and soul
With joy

Rain
Falling
Forms patterns
On my windshield
Droplet diamonds
Dotted aqua circles
Spheres creating a maze on glass
Misty pearl like aqueous scene
Continually changing liquid web
Instantly swept away as wipers do their job

Writing poems makes each day different
Often they bring bewilderment
Or joy to a humdrum day
Their creation is my pay
As thoughts take on form
Not always norm
They excite
Ignite
Life
