Winter Sunshine

Bright light

Shines thru trees

Chasing grayness away

Sun competes as tree shadows

Soon fade

Snow melts

Sunshine heat

Restores green carpet

Birds fly in, noisely inspect the scene,

With glee

  Thank you Iris. When I woke yesterday and saw the sunshine it was so uplifting it inspired me to write the poem 😊 All the snow and cold doesn’t seem so bad when the sun is shining!
