Barely breathing
Sitting still like a statue
Patience pays off
Hummer comes to visit
Stops for a quick drink
Flits away, but then returns
For an amazing encore!

As I was sitting on my patio today painting I was surprised by a hummingbird zooming in to check out the Birdbath which was literally right in front of me! I sat frozen as I watched it flit back and forth and then zoom away.
Hoping it would return, I grabbed my camera and sat very still. In a short time it returned for a drink and I was able to record the moment!
