Waiting
Upon the Lord
Praying, hoping, believing,
All give me strength to begin
Again

Summer’s been sleeping,
Wasting her alotted days
Procrastinating.
Weather man keeps promising
Tomorrow for sure
We’ll see her warm sunny smile,
Yet so far it seems
She keeps on hibernating.
Will tomorrow ever come?
Choka
Waiting,
For summertime.
Looking for the sunshine
To chase away the dull gray days
Of life.

July 5th and it’s still cloudy, gloomy, chilly weather outside. We are ready for some warm, sunny days, but still waiting for summer weather to arrive. Hope it does soon.
After Thanksgiving
It all began happening
Planning, purchasing
Decorating and wrapping
Now we sit and wait for morn

Our family is having our Christmas tomorrow morning because that’s the only time everyone can get together at once.
Presents are wrapped, cookies are baked, and I’m ready to go!
Tonight I am just resting, watching Christmas movies, nibbling on a few cookies, and waiting for morning 😊
Treasures abound.
Many gifts are waiting
In my Father’s house.
Only good and perfect gifts
Are waiting to be found.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 KJV
Around the world ‘tis
The night of expectation
Waiting for Christmas

Waiting for the wind
To fulfill my only purpose
Patiently I stand still

“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8
Among strangers
In line together
Mumbling
Grumbling
Shuffling feet in weariness
I stood behind you
As you spoke
A breath of fresh air
Uplifted
Awakened
My senses, because your words changed
The whole atmosphere.
Words full of
Positivity,
Thankfulness,
Permeated
And turned strangers into
Lively comrades

Cookies are baked
Gifts all wrapped and ready
Waiting in silence
For the family to appear
Christmas comes once again

Unfinished projects abound.
Each day showing me they’re around,
They shift and fall and fret,
Hoping my attention to get.
Some buried beneath a paper stack,
Just lie in wait for what they lack.
Others in plain site collect
Dust, as each day them I neglect.
Sadly they all sit, waiting for the day,
For me to have time to bring life their way.
