Facing the Door of Doom

Door

Fear envelopes like a wet blanket.

I shiver from cold thoughts filling my mind,

Flooding like a broken faucet,

Drowning me with anxiety.

I sit frozen with fear,

As darkness threatens.

Then light breaks thru,

My mind clears,

Jesus

Saves!

  1. Oh, wow! Your portrayal of our condition without Christ is as accurate and powerful as the hope you give in the final two lines. Thank you so much for this wonderful verse!
