Monotone message

Conquering the boredom

Doodling on my hand

Senryu

I joined an art challenge this month on #Instagram called #Sketchtember and today’s prompt was to sketch a hand so I decided to try sketching a 3D hand plus do some doodling on it while I was listening to a lecture on writing poetry for a poetry class I am in.

Thus, the result was this poem and art I am posting today 😊.

?–Have you ever tried #doodling or #sketching as a challenge, or as a way to overcome boredom?

  1. Quite detailed doodling. I’m not much of a doodler, but once in a while I find myself doing it, but usually just simple things. Can’t remember the last time I did any. Good poem, too, and you were able to do several things at the same time. Multitasking that proved profitable. 🙂

    1. Thanks Diane. I am not really a doodler either but this time it seemed to be advantageous. Thankfully I have always seemed to be good at multi-tasking, it’s a good thing too because I usually have lots of projects to complete each day. 😊

      1. I have often been a multitasker too. I can remember years ago when I had my craft business I would knit Fairisle sweaters for kids while I read a book. I don’t do quite as well at it any more as I can get distracted and forget what I am supposed to be doing. 🙂
