Blazing Banner

Blazing summer sun

All day I enjoyed the presence and the heat of the Summer Sun that has once again visited my area in the Pacific Northwest. I love summer and sunshine!

Last night that summer sun left us in a blaze of fiery red, orange and yellow glory, stretching across the western horizon like a banner. It was amazing to see the beauty of it!

I was able to capture it with my cell phone camera but the picture just doesn’t show the full depth of its intense color.

    1. Thanks Diane. Yes, if I had a high quality camera perhaps I could capture it better but all I have is a cell phone to rely on, but am grateful I have that as I love to take pictures of nature and my phone is always on hand to do so. 😊

      1. I love to take pictures too. I don’t have a cell phone but I do have a very good digital camera. I used to use a 35mm that I still have, but don’t use any more. That took wonderful photos too, but it’s so nice not to have to wait (and pay) for the development of the film.
