Sunset June 2020
Across the heavens
Stretches a banner of fire
Blazing summer sun
All day I enjoyed the presence and the heat of the Summer Sun that has once again visited my area in the Pacific Northwest. I love summer and sunshine!
Last night that summer sun left us in a blaze of fiery red, orange and yellow glory, stretching across the western horizon like a banner. It was amazing to see the beauty of it!
I was able to capture it with my cell phone camera but the picture just doesn’t show the full depth of its intense color.

May’s big “Flower Moon”
Blooming in the eastern sky
Year’s last Supermoon
“A super moon is the result of the full moon coinciding with the moon’s closest point of orbit in relation to the Earth, which is known as perigee. The result is that the moon is not only full, but looks closer to us and brighter than usual. On average, a super moon is seven percent bigger and 15 percent brighter than a full moon.
The May Super Flower Moon is the last super moon this year.”

Who are you four,
Friends or foe?
Grand-daughter sent me this pic she recently took at the beach. I was taken aback by all the faces I saw in the clouds!
Western sky’s a flame
Blazing streaks of bright orange
August’s last hurrah
Goodbye August…I will miss your warm sunny days
Just the birds and me
Admiring this tall tall tree
Reaching for the sky
Rooted and grounded it grows
God wants me to do the same
Loud bursts of colors
Sky filled with Fireworks
