In the days of my youth
When time was of no essence
No thoughts for the morrow
Entered my lofty world
As I grew vibrantly
In the fresh breezes of life
Enjoying the sun’s kiss
Until touched by Autumn’s breath
I felt the brevity of life
Choka
Different types and forms of poetry I have written
Ice on the windshield of life
Be the sun that melts
Haiku
Myself
Adrift in a sea of sin
Zombie like, drowning
In my own foolishness
No one to help me, nothing to
Grasp on to, I was lost, but then,
God’s Grace
Reached out to me
Amazing Grace
Came to me
Enveloped me, and saved me
Acrostic
“Amazing Grace”–the Song-Verse 1
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found Was blind, but now I see.
Lyrics by John Newton
