Talking with my neighbor,
Keeping our 6 foot distance,
Our words floating through the air
Land upon others ears
Across the courtyard.
Soon a 6 foot convention
Gathers. “The new normal.”

Be careful with your thoughts.
“brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.”
Philippians 4:8 NKJV
Breath is a blessing
Our life is but a vapor
Thankful for each breath
Senryu
If you have ever lost your breath for a moment I am sure you can relate to this poem.
Having recently had an asthma attack that literally took my breath from me for a few seconds was very scary and made me realize how precious each breath I take is.
Life is short, breathe it in and give thanks for every breath!
August tried to warn
Us of her impending move.
She sent us cool drafts,
Chilling memos of warning.
Yet, wrapped in sweaters
We missed her exiting.
Undercover of night,
With just the moon as witness,
Fall bearing September came.
Choka
Heat wave crashes
High Atmospheric air meets
August sun rising
Haiku
Balloons are nothing without
Air and neither are we.
Life
Lesson:
Our lives are
Only as good as our
Next deposit into them.
Seek to aerate your life daily
