Blue Jay confronts
Sneaky squirrel at bird feeder
Crime never pays
Haiku

Mr. Gray Squirrel is back today
Eating from the feeder like it’s okay
“You’re a funny looking bird” I say
My comment causes him no dismay
“Mighty fine sunflower seeds” says he
“Quite worth my trip down the tree”
“Ah yes, but not meant for you” says me
With a smile and nod, away he does flee
Narrative/Rhyme
To Be Continued….I imagine

That pesky Mr. Squirrel
Will twist, stretch or twirl
To get a bit to eat
Spying the bird feeder’s treat
Towards it he does hurl

Curiosity
Coupled with a winter hunger
Strange looking bird
Haiku

There once was a brown squirrel
Who upon a bird feeder did swirl
He tried to get a treat
But trouble he did meet
When he got dizzy from the twirl
