Wherever we awake
Everyday we have a choice
Look on the bright side

I have the little saying “Positive Thinking Area” which I clipped it out of a magazine long ago, hanging in the hallway of my home, and often times my eyes just happen to fall upon it at exactly the right time that I need to refocus my thinking to be more positive.
I have little quotes, poems, pictures, scriptures, etc posted and scattered all about my home as reminders to me to keep thinking positive and to look on the bright side of life. For each day I awake is a blessing to me and I don’t want to waste a minute of it entertaining negative thoughts.
Another report!
Each day the news is bringing
Fear into our hearts.
Do we allow the fear to dwell
Or choose to overcome it?

Eternal life awaits
Everyone who will
Express true faith in Christ
Each one has a chance
Extend your your heart and
Embrace God’s free gift
Embodied in Jesus

This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine’s Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables. A world of colors.
The world is full of color!
What color do you love?
When you have so many choices,
Why choose just one?
Choose color multitudes!
Look all around you,
As far as your eyes can see,
Manifold colors surround!

#OctPoWriMo Day 27 Prompt: Color
Trinet Poem
Want to be happy?
The key to happiness is choice.
Make choices carefully.
Senryu
Opens to pleasures,
Worldly fun,
Care-free,
Yet it ends in destruction,
And utter darkness.
Narrow gate
Is chosen by few
Difficult ,
Obstacles,
Yet leads to everlasting life.
Which gate to choose?
Double Shadorma
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14
As the hand of time extends
Act and don’t procrastinate
Opportunity won’t wait
Grab it before it’s too late
Seek before the chance ends
Opportunity won’t wait
As the hand of time extends

In 2011 I was offered the opportunity to attend College part time. I was in my elder years and had never had the chance previously to attend college. Seeing this as a once in a lifetime opportunity for me , I took the chance and enrolled as a part-time student in Web Design. It has been a challenge and a long road but yesterday I graduated with Honors! I am very happy to have had the opportunity to do this!
