As we follow Jesus
In a world of conformity
Our old ways will leave us
As we begin to walk new paths
If you have watched the new movie “The Chosen” you will be familiar with the phrase “Get Used To Different”.
If not, I invite you to watch it
and in Season 1-Episode 7 you will hear this phrase spoken.

Was washed away overnight.
Rain clouds now I see.
What difference a day makes!
Things change so quickly.
Moments turn to memories,
Reminding me to:
Capture the sunny days,
Before they fade away.
Yesterday was 72 degrees, sunny, no wind, and a wonderful day to be outside in nature. Today is 52 degrees, rainy, chilly and cloudy. A great day to huddle inside and read or write.
Therefore, I am thankful I was able to capture some of yesterday’s sunshine in the video above as I happened to be outside in the right place at the right time! 😊
This video is now delightful to watch on this rainy cloudy chilly day that has arrived. Hope it brightens your day also wherever you may be.
In a world of hurt
One heart among many
Can bring souls comfort
One heart that’s surrendered
Completely to God’s will
As I continue to read the true story of Katie Davis Majors heart’s commitment to God and His will, I am amazed at what God has done through her for the people in Uganda.
I recommend reading her book “Kisses for Katie”. It’s a great testimony of what God can accomplish through one heart that’s totally surrendered to Him.
Yet all are the same
Outside, what differs is what’s
Look around you now.
What’s in your enviroment?
Make a difference!
Look for the flowers not weeds.
If you find none, plant one!
I was inspired to write this poem after watching this video
