Morris the Queen, golden calico cat
Sits upon our hearts

None other can take her place

(Tribute to Morris, my grandson’s cat, who is about 12 years old now. He got her as a baby kitten and though she was female he. Ames her Morris because she looks just like the famous Morris on Nine Lives. She has truly been a wonderful family cat.)

Bound about my neck,

Written on my heart’s tablet,

See Mercy and Truth.

I will keep them very close.

If they never leave,

I will find high esteem and

I will find favor,

With God and with all mankind.

Good Fruit

Jesus wise words

Trees are known by their fruit.

Promote the good 

Out of the mouth the heart speaks

Fill your heart with good treasure

Tanka 

For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:44-45
