Today I wrote a word
Just one short word
It sat there awhile
All alone it sat
Until inspiration
Caused it to grow
And multiply itself
Creating a story
Of three thousand words
The power of pen
And inspiration
Can change the world

Gasp Gasp Puff Puff
Life’s not made of this kind of stuff
Run Run Race Race
Life’s better when you slow your pace
Pant Pant Rant Rant
Stop to smell the flowers by the garden gate
Busy Busy Dizzy Dizzy
Life’s too precious to spend in a tizzy
Just like the movies you watch and the food you eat,
life does have an end time, an expiration date
Take time to breathe. Enjoy every moment before it’s too late
Rhyme

In everything you do
Notice the little things
Smile at the world around you
Purposely speak positive
Inquire how others are
Recycle and share good deeds
Envelope yourself in life
Acrostic, Syllabic Verse

Filing memories
Into the memory bank
June slowly fades
Haiku

Covered in roses
Their fragrance trailing her
June passed by
Bidding us fond farewell
Soon she’ll be a fond memory
Tanka

Splotch and spot
Feasted, fed, eat, ate

Kangaroo Word Definition and Examples in English

At the close of day
In soft evening sunlight
Garden’s rosy glow
Haiku

I gave life to a word today
I released it in haste
It formed like an arrow
Piercing its target deep
In regret I tried
To take it back
But it still
Left a
Mark
I gave life to a word today
Releasing it with tenderness
It formed like an a heart
Hugging its target tight
Awaking lost dreams
To hope again
Happily it
Left a
Mark

Amazed
At all the wonder
In the world around me
I took time to look for it
And saw

Worries appear like
Cloud, upon cloud, upon cloud
Threatening your day
Shift the view by looking up
Focus on blue sky above
Tanka
As the clouds move on and pass away, so will your troubles. Therefore, do not worry, but shift your focus to look to God above who is in control of all things.
(While out shopping today I happened to look up at the sky, as I often do because I always enjoy seeing the many different beautiful clouds Oregon has,and seeing this scalloped cloud formation today intrigued me.
As I gazed at it this poem formed in my mind that I felt I should share as it’s always a good reminder to me, as well as others, that we should not worry. )
