Lifelines Needed

Ducks floating in the bay at Bandon, OR. 2019

In this ol’

Life at times

We find we’re

Just able

To stay afloat

And tread water

Not moving

Not going

Just keeping

Our heads up

Until someone

Helps us out

By throwing

Us out a

Lifeline

Syllablic Verse

Be that someone-throw out a lifeline to somebody in need.

Encourage Yourself

Never Give Up painting

Some days when you just can’t win

Fight that feelin’ of just givin’ up

Don’t lose hope before you begin

Some days when you just can’t win

Keep tryin’ and make yourself grin

Pray for God’s strength to stand up

Some days when you just can’t win

Fight that feelin’ of just givin’ up

Looking back at where I’ve been

Won’t get me where I want to be

Thinking of what life was then

Looking back at where I’ve been

Mulling over where I was when

Hides the future from me

Looking back at where I’ve been

Won’t get me where I want to be

Quote by Neale Donald Walsch about Comfort Zones

Comfort Zone

A risk free area

Syllable Lune

So many of us are stuck in our Comfort Zones. We settle for a life that’s ” good enough” but not really ideal. We want to break free, take risks, pursue opportunities, try new things, but it’s hard to find a way out because we are comfortable where we are and there’s not really a need to change.

Perhaps reading this article “10 Ways To Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone” may give you some ideas that will help you find a way.

Pick Your Battles

Fallen Knight in Battle Armor

“Don’t sweat the small things”

When life tries to weary you

Keep up and keep on.

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan? Jeremiah 12:5
