At home and in many places where I have worked I always have had a Candy Dish.
Filled with Peppermints or other small wrapped candies it offered a nice treat to those stopping by. A refreshing peppermint or piece of chocolate in mid-afternoon always seemed to be a good pick me up at work and at home of course it was the first place the grand-kids headed for when they visited.
Sometimes its just the little things that can make our days better.

Today was Gingerbread House Day. In times past I have made many Gingerbread Houses but not today.
I did enjoy having a Toasted Marshmallow Peppermint Mocha at Black Rock Coffee while I thought about them though 😊

This Robin chose not to fly South for the Winter I guess. I saw him hopping around my yard in the rain and was surprised to find out that not all Robins fly South, but some stick around and eat fruit in the Wintertime. (Photo is not very clear as I had to snap it quickly using my phone thru my patio window from quite a distance)

I baked some Sour Cream Sugar Cookies today and was planning to head to Subway to get my free cookie there but never made it.
Just as well, I didn’t need another cookie anyhow. Mine were enough! 😊
