A Remembrance

Cross

Today

Lying in my path

A reminder of You

Twig cross created by the wind’s breath

Speaks loudly

Cinquain

Yesterday as I went out to get my mail it was windy and raining so I was walking with my hood up and head down, when I noticed what looked like a tiny beautiful cross lying in a pool of water on the blacktop. It was fashioned of two light colored twigs that apparently were blown by the wind to end up in that position. The way the light hit it it almost appeared to look golden. It stopped me in my tracks that’s for sure! As I pulled out my phone to snap a picture I thanked God for sending me this reminder on the day before Palm Sunday!

They “Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.” John 12:13 KJV

What is “Palm Sunday”?

What is “Holy Week”?

Writer’s Question

Pencil, notepad, crumpled paper

What should I write about?

Something I seek or see?

Something that deserves a shout?

What should I write about?

Things that I believe or doubt?

Something I hope or dream will be?

What should I write about?

Something I seek or see?

Poetic Paradise

Poetic Paradise, sleeping, dreaming

Did

You ever

Wonder how

Poets find sleep?

Or what they might think

In those dark night watches?

As they contemplate slumber?

Are their mind’s in calm repose?

How do they enter into somnolence?

Poets count syllables instead of sheep!

Armored and Able

Lion sleeping

Believer be aware

Always put on your armor

Wear it daily

The lion sleeps

But he will arise again

So be on guard

Your great adversary

Is as a roaring lion

Wanting to devour

The lion slumbers

But he will again awake

So be wise

Be spirtually ready

Don’t be caught off guard

Always be vigilant

For the devil

Is as a prowling lion

Seeking to devour

Stand against him

Wearing the Armor of God

He will flee.

POSSIBLE

possible
God is:

Promising a good future. It’s
Obtainable and
Securable, if you are
Susceptible and ready to be
Imaginable! Will it be a
Breeze? No, more
Likely it will take hard work. It won’t be
Easy, but it is possible to achieve.

ACROSTIC
Think positive!
With God all things are Possible!  (Matthew 19:26)
