Childhood tree adorned

They will look at my home
And laugh at its Vintage style
Yet no matter where I roam
I will think of my place and smile
Its not a mansion with a dome
Nor a castle on an isle
But I look at my home
And love it’s Vintage style

On a carousel
My dreams ride
A white unicorn

Sitting in Silence
Old trunk
If you could talk,
I can only imagine
What kind of stories would you tell
Of life,
And your travels on land or sea.
Who did you belong to?
What did you hold?
I wonder…
Butterfly Cinquain
Another Era…
I was inspired to write this poem after being in a charming little house with glass door knobs. The house was filled with so much character that is no longer seen much these days.
